Hotel: Row NYC

Anzeige

After I already showed you so many beautiful hotels all around the world on my blog I want to recommend you today one of my favorites: „Row NYC“ where I stayed during the New York Fashion Week. Before I checked in in this one I was a little bit afraid, because I heard horror stories about hotels in general in New York, so every time I’m in NYC I’m a little bit nervous, before checking in especially as I’ve made some bad experiences last year. My worries were unwarranted, because this time we hit the jackpot. Not only, that we had no cockroaches, no bed bugs nor dirt, but we had the greatest view on New York’s Skyline and felt the full New York energy. Lucky me!   the-row-hotel-nyc-review-33

The Hotel

Row NYC is the 5th biggest hotel in NYC and reopened only one year ago with a new name and a new design. It’s super modern, but with with this Old Hollywood glam: very imposing on one hand, but very contemporary on the other hand. But not only the beautiful interior is special, also the breakfast – in a good way! Instead of a buffet as you know it in any other hotel there is something more like a bar, where you can get the best from some of NYC’s finest European bakeries and bistros including Payard, Balthazar and Pain d’Avignon. Even my friend Lina who is always unhappy with her Croissants was more than satisfied. I focused more on my smoothies and my yogurt with fresh fruits. But in this hotel it’s all about the details and even the coffee mugs are awesome and stylish. Everything is just #moreNYthanNY. My personal highlight was by the way the newspaper store, that had not only Elle and Vogue, but all the international fashion magazines you hardly find in Germany.   the-row-hotel-nyc-review-14

The Location

The hotel is located in the heart of Manhattan: at the Times Square. Here you can see that New York really never sleeps and feel the full spirit of this energetic city. The metro station is right next to your hotel and almost all lines drive there. I promise you, you’ll love this fact, especially as the traffic is always horrible. Don’t worry about shopping (the broadway is just a few minutes walk away) neither food. All you need is just a few minutes walk away or around the corner. There is also a food court next to the hotel for all you foodies out there.   the-row-hotel-nyc-review-11

The Rooms

We had a suite much bigger than the normal rooms, but of course not all the rooms look like that. The normal rooms are quite small, but that’s normal for a hotel in such a place. The rooms were clean and we had no bad surprises, also the beds are big and comfy and the view is just amazing! I think it’s enough space for 2 person and let’s be honest: who stays in the hotel room all day when New York is out there?   the-row-hotel-nyc-review-29

The Result

The hotel has a great price/performance ratio, especially concerning the prime location. Another great point was the service, because everybody was so nice and helpful and made us enjoying our stay. All in all it was a great hotel and I’m pretty sure I’ll come back in September – for the next Fashion Week then.     row nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel review the-row-hotel-nyc-review-26 row nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel reviewrow nyc new york city times square hotel review the-row-hotel-nyc-review-10 the-row-hotel-nyc-review-7 the-row-hotel-nyc-review-6 the-row-hotel-nyc-review-40 the-row-hotel-nyc-review-30 the-row-hotel-nyc-review-37 the-row-hotel-nyc-review-1 the-row-hotel-nyc-review-38 the-row-hotel-nyc-review-2

  1. Hey Masha, mal wieder super tolle Bilder!

  2. Sehr schone Impressionen. LG, Sandra
