If I had to pick one color to wear for the rest of my life, I’d go for… black.

For some reason I’m hugely attracted to black, it’s the color (or non-color) that I keep returning to, no matter what. Back to black – to me that is synonymous with back to the roots. I always loved it, even in my earliest days of developing a fashion sense I tended to prefer #allblackeverything looks. I do allow for some grey and blue, on occasion, but black’s always’ been closest to my heart. It has simply always been like that.   I felt it strongly yesterday, as I sorted through some old clothes and reveled in memories. In retrospect, I could see that while I always loved it like no other color, I could only really start to fully live my passion in my teens. Since then, I never looked back. Occasional affairs with other colors notwithstanding.   Well, I can say that this particular look is everything but a guilty style pleasure. Sure, there are parallels to my early years, but it may as well be a pic from the future. That’s what it boils down to: this look is timeless. Maybe that’s the essence of true love as well – it lasts forever.

So, yeah, today’s look is a bit more high-necked than my typical outfits, but what can I say, it’s a combination of a bunch of favorite pieces, no less. I’m wearing my favorite jeans (we all have a favorite pair of jeans, don’t we?), an unusually tight top with small turtleneck, comfy mules (did I mention that mules are my favorite trend of the season?) and – the highlight – a huge rucksack by Liebeskind. I love how much room there is in this backpack, and I wouldn’t want to miss it – it’s become a trusted travel companion in no time whatsoever. And what’s more, it’s made of super soft leather. Gotta point that out, it feels amazing to the touch.   Let’s face it, talking about timeless items, what fits the description more than a trusted, black quality rucksack to pack all my favorite items in?

    super kombi

    alles Liebe deine AMELY ROSE

  2. Hallo Masha,
