There is a trend that I love for a while now: Layering. The right layering of clothes is more than just a trend. It’s a skill not many fashionistas are blessed with. But some of them are real masters in their own way, like the queen of layering: Nobieh Talaei. Being fashion designer in Germany is not an easy job: there are not many funding programs or grants and hardly any customers who are patriotic enough to invest into a piece from a German newcomer instead of a big name from an international fashion metropolis. What makes it even harder is the when the clothes you create are breathtaking beautiful being worn, but look not special on the hanger. How do you convince costumers then?
Because it’s such a hard business it’s even more important to support each other and being a fashion blogger makes it easy for me to support my local heroes. One of this local (really local – just a few streets away) heroes is Nobi Talai. The newcomer designer with iran roots creats pieces, that remind me of a modern interpretation of the traditional middle eastern nomad robes. And you know what? It’s perfect layering material. What I also love about the creations Nobi Talai are the high quality materials she is using like silk or japanise leather and the designs, that can be worn more than only one season, because they are independent of fashion trends.
outfit: Nobi Talai shoes: Gianvito Rossi bag: Lili Radu watch: Fossil
They are oversized, but still very female. Colorful, but never shrill and although I’m not a big color fan, I feel comfortable in Nobieh’s designs. You can see the influence of a foreign culture, but I can completely adapt it and still being myself. Some garments can be bound or laced, such as my pants and other things you can add or remove like the pleated on my jacket. Each piece is something special, timeless and made with love.
And that is exactly the art of layering: although every piece is special and is a statement, the combination creates a harmonious overall picture and makes the outfit special. By the way: Not only my outfit is made in Germany – also my bag is from a German designer: Lili Radu. The German is also a real local hero (also a few streets down, but in the other direction) and her wonderful designs are even worn by big names from Hollywood and sold in elite fashion houses like Bloomingdales in NY and LA. The sympathetic designer is a good example of how design made in Berlin can also rock the international parquet. My dark blue bag made of calf and spiked leather is one of my favorites in my wardrobe and fits with the different materials perfectly to my layering outfit today.
Girl – I LOVE YOUR OUTFIT! :)
Layering is a wonderful and creative way to put your outfit together during fall and winter.
Even though I have to admit that I still have problems layering m clothes in a ‘pretty way’. I still feel like I just look hella weird when I try it.
Anyhow – I just fell head over heels for your shoes haha. They are gorgeous :)

There are some extremely talented designers in Germany I must admit. My favorite at the moment is Malaika Reiss for example. However one must admit the Germans are extremely conservative in the business field. Today’s fashion’s industry logo is ‘I WANT WHAT SHE HAS’, meaning the new designers have to invest in exposure aka Fashion Bloggers.
Wonderfully worn my darling Masha! Hope Nobi Talai will appreciate this post more than I.

Love from https://tbymallano.com/
absolutely!! I LOVE Malaika Raiss! Everything she does looks so fragile and beautiful.
The new logo is bullshit and I feel so sad about it. I personally don’t like it, when everybody wears the same, but obviously I think different, because my logo is: ‘I don’t want what she has.’
But that means also: less followers :(
Nobi already wrote me a beautiful mail so yes, she did. She is a wonderful person :)
PERFECT <3

Perfect as always!
