I am proud of you.
You know, I always wanted to tell you this:
I am really proud of you.
How often do we tell our partners that we are proud of them, proud of all the many things they achieve day by day? How often do we let them know that we are proud of the qualities they enrich our lives with? Way to seldom to we tell our partners what we appreciate about them., and way too often to we nag about their short-comings. But we are together with them for a reason, not because all things considered they are kind of nice people.
No, we are with them because they are our heroes.
Let’s gift a moment and some nice words to our heroes today. It doesn’t always need to be the huge bunch of flowers or the perfect dinner. A few nice words, a caring gesture can make the biggest difference.

I am proud of you because you keep showing me that nothing is impossible, no road too long, no bar too high, and you do it with an iron will and incredible mental strength.
I am proud of you because you support me as I pursue my dreams, and you always have my back.
I am proud of you because you know how to ground me, bring me back to reality when I’m in my bubble. You are my anchor in the real world.
I am proud of you because after all these years you still give me the feeling I am the hottest woman around.
I am proud of you for all the understanding you show for the challenges of my profession.
I am proud of you because I know I can count on you in every situation in life.
I am proud of you because you are my hero.
Kind words and gestures keep a relationship alive and fill it with joy. Speaking about gestures, I am a big fan of spontaneous flowers presents and shared moments. I will also admit that I am a bit of a typical woman, and one of the things I love most is jewelry. Jewelry is timeless, and it tells you: ‘I am here to stay.’
And this sense of stability is what we crave in a happy relationship, isn’t it? Eternal love!
Whatever eternity means, however long your relationship turns out to be, jewelry encapsulates a moment of joy and saves it forever. It binds two people together, and it always has a symbolic quality.
A wonderful example for me is the Forget-Me-Knot line by Georg Jensen. I love these delicate pieces with their little knots that look like little hearts from the right angle. The knot symbolizes the bond that holds us together, the promise we give each other by sharing our days, every day anew. Most of all, it is a symbol of the enduring memory of each other that we will carry in our hearts forever.
