It’s the little things in life
As I write these lines I’m full of happy anticipation. I’m preparing a Christmas dinner for my closest friends in Berlin, and my parents will arrive in less than 24 hours as well. Physically I don’t feel all that great, but emotionally I’m over the moon. A dinner with friends, that’s one of the nicest things I can imagine. It has a very intimate quality for me, something that no party in the world can be a match for. It’s the stuff of memories for life, moments you remember forever, that are powerful enough to give your life a new direction.
Professionally speaking I was really busy this week: basically it was the last week of Christmas events. Plus, I’m super proud of this weeks blog posts, looking at them I see that one is more beautiful than the other! It cost me a lot of sweat and nerves behind the scenes, but it was definitely worth it. All in all, my week was awesome.
Can you believe that on Saturday it’s Christmas already?
It boggles my mind how fast the year has passed. It sped by me, and here I stand, mouth agape, trying to grab hold of the last of it before it disappears out of sight.
I have a couple of nice highlights for you next week, among them the last round of pictures from my shooting at Hotel Zoo (I can’t quite decide which ones are my favorites: those I’ll share tomorrow or those from last week). I also have a last festive outfit for you and a last minute gift-guide for all of you who are running out of time.
Apart from all that, I’m most looking forward to the private aspects of next week. It will be my last week in Berlin before I go on holiday, and I will spend it together with my parents. I am more excited about this than I have been in a long time!
