Hotel: JW Marriot Venice

Anzeige
Venedig.

Venice. When I was there the first time two years ago I was fascinated by the city and it’s beauty. It was like a huge maze of streets and bridges and I love to just get lost there. But not only I am very impressed by the city – thousands of tourists every day feel the same way about this city. People everywhere, group tours everywhere and.. hotels everywhere! But I was lucky to sleep in one of the best and most luxurious hotels in Venice on a little private island: the JW Marriot.   jwmarriot-venice-13

The Hotel

The hotel is on a private island – far away from all the hustle and bustle but still close to Venice. It has an own shuttle and you need only a few minutes to St. Marks, but the hotel invites you to stay. The building itself is huge with many green areas and little houses, with suites inside. There are also several restaurants, a wonderful spa area and a fantastic infinity pool on the rooftop. Another positive point was the staff: they were very friendly and motivated. But what I personally liked most was the food – a culinary highlight! I’m a big fan of the Italian cuisine and after this place even more…   jwmarriot-venice-10

The Rooms

The rooms are all very different and spread across the whole island. There are some rooms in the main house with a wonderful view on the city and even rooms with a private pool and a view on the lagoon! Wow!   jwmarriot-venice-11

Special

What I love most is the privacy and exclusivity of this place. Even though there are so many rooms, you had the feeling you were alone. Also, the hotel offers courses for example cooking classes for pasta, cocktail courses or how to make Murano glass. And you don’t even need to leave the island! jwmarriot-venice-26

Conclusion

The JW Marriot is a true luxury hotel, which is perfect for exploring Venice, but at the same time offers tranquility with all the hustle and bustle on your doorstep. Kind of like a little oasis in the middle of the city and perfect for adventurers, who are happy to rest sometimes. A Bellini on it!     jwmarriot-venice-20 jwmarriot-venice-24 jwmarriot-venice-30 jwmarriot-venice-29 jwmarriot-venice-25 jwmarriot-venice-32 jwmarriot-venice-31 jwmarriot-venice-21 jwmarriot-venice-22 jwmarriot-venice-23 jwmarriot-venice-27 jwmarriot-venice-35 jwmarriot-venice-36 jwmarriot-venice-15 jwmarriot-venice-18 jwmarriot-venice-9 jwmarriot-venice-1 jwmarriot-venice-34 jwmarriot-venice-28 jwmarriot-venice-19 jwmarriot-venice-17 jwmarriot-venice-16 jwmarriot-venice-12 jwmarriot-venice-8 jwmarriot-venice-3 jwmarriot-venice-7 jwmarriot-venice-6 jwmarriot-venice-2

  2. Wie im Paradies, echt! Und die Einrichtung trifft genau meinen Geschmack. So viel schönes Petrol…
