White. Grey. Black. That’s it.
I have never been a big fan of bright colors, not even during summer. Therefore, I like clean and plain outfits the most. Just so that it seems like one has turned down the level of saturation. Especially during summer, I prefer white clothes. This doesn’t look summery – it also feels better while you enjoy the sun. However, do I always ask myself which accessories shall I combine best with these white looks: I find white accessories often a little difficult, black ones are too harsh, and colorful ones to bright.
Hence the perfect option is grey. By now my current stock of bags in grey and nude colors is constantly growing and one highlight of it was this grey baby from Givenchy, which I have discovered at Farfetch. It is not that easy to find these perfect and at the same time timeless pieces, which are special, but also versatile. That’s why I was right away head over heels for this purse, which shows off great here.

In general, I love the concept of Farfetch: Basically it’s a platform for many little Designer stores, who like to sell their great pieces online without having to open their own online shop, since that’s most of the time too much work for what they get out of it, especially when the stock isn’t that big anyway. That’s the reason why the chance is much better at Farfetch to find special and rare pieces from designers, since they are widely spread all over the world – just like my bag.
Nevertheless, it’s not just the bag from the outfit I love so much, but also it’s the mix of different materials: Silk meets linen, leather and cotton. This is what makes the outfit so thrilling, the mix of materials. You can see it best when you have a closer look at the top section. Sometimes you just need the right mix of materials to create a great outfit. PS: Unfortunately, these pictures were taken in Barcelona, that’s why I’m writing in the past. But at least the pictures turned out amazing!

Der Material-Mix ist dir wirklich sehr gut gelungen. Mir gefällt besonders das Shirt. Ich hätte wahrscheinlich davor gestanden und mich gefragt, wie ich etwas so besonderes jemals tragen soll – du setzt es einfach spielend leicht und lässig um! Chapeau.

Die Tasche ist in der Tat ein Schmuckstück. Grau hat so viele spannende Schattierungen, und mit einem bisschen Struktur (große Struktur mit 3D-Effekt, wie das Top, und kleine Struktur in der gewebten Hose) wirkt es für mein Auge richtig “bunt”! Die Hose gefällt mir so gut, die muss ich mal kurz stalken ;)
Und *luftschnapp* DIE Schuhe… von meinem kleinen Intermezzo mit ihnen habe ich ja schon erzählt. Sie rauben mir noch immer den Atem!
