You know what I like the most about spring?
Finally, everything is blooming again and trees, flowers and bushes befog the streets with a delicious scent and cover the grey streets with some color. It’s almost impossible for me not to be in a good mood with the singing of the birds and the first rays of sunlight.
I ADORE the spring season.
Fitting to spring fever, Viktor & Rolf came up with something new and floral for you: they give life to the little sister of their classic scent Flowerbomb (which I had mentioned earlier on my blog) which is called
While the Flowerbomb classic smells quite intensely like a self-confident flower bouquet full of colorful summer flowers, its little sister is a bit more spring-y and young: tangy, light, fresh and somehow like a new beginning.
Heartnote: Peony, Freesia, Jasmin, Mountain air, Pachouli
Bottom note: Vanilla, Musk
This might be because of the new top note which is dominated by a pomegranate chord. It makes the scent a lot more lively and fruity in comparison to its bigger sister, whose top note is characterized by tea and bergamots. A new factor is also “liquid air” which is meant to smell like mountain air and it completes the fragrance nicely. Otherwise, the scent stays true to its bigger sister: floral like a bunch of flowers.

In my opinion this fragrance is a perfect fit for spring, because the classic attended me through the darker seasons last year, smelling a bit like summer, the Bloom Edition is a lot lighter and fresher.
Just like spring itself.
