Outfit: Mein Lieblingsteil aus der DfT-Kollektionoutfit: my favorite piece from the DfT collection

Zu meinem Outfit heute möchte ich euch eine kleine Geschichte erzählen: Jedes Jahr wird auf der Berliner Fashion Week der Designer for Tomorrow Award an einen talentierten Nachwuchsdesigner vergeben, der von einer hochkarätigen Jury ausgewählt wird und darf in der Saison darauf nicht nur eine eigene Show auf der Fashion Week präsentieren, sondern produziert auch noch eine eigene Kollektion für Peek&Cloppenburg und Fashion ID. Eine echt tolle Chance für Jungdesigner also, insbesondere weil Mode in Deutschland ja allgemein nicht groß gefördert wird. 2013 hat die Londoner Studentin Ioana Ciolacu unter der Obhut von Niemand geringerem als Stella McCartney gewonnen und hat für P&C eine Capsule Collection entworfen, die eindeutig ihre junge, aber marakante Handschrift trägt, die aber auch sicherlich ein bisschen von Stella geprägt wurde. Was das jetzt alles mit meinem Outfit zu tun hat? Das Oberteil, das Statement Piece in diesem Outfit, ist eben aus dieser Capsule Collection und wie ich finde, ein ziemlich gelungenes Resultat aus einer viel verprechenden Erfolgsgeschichte :) I want to tell you a little story about my outfit today: Every year a young talented designer wins the Designer for Tomorrow Award at the fashion week in Berlin. The designer is chosen by a jury and the winner will show his collection in the next season at the Berlin Fashion Week aaaaaand the winner can also produce an own collection for Peek&Cloppenburg and Fashion ID. It’s a great opportunity for young designers, especially because they’re not often supported in Germany. 2013, the London student Ioana Ciolacu won the contest and she has designed for P&C a capsule collection and Stella McCartney was her patron. I think you can see that in the collection, too. So what has this story to do with my outfit? The shirt, the statement piece in this outfit, is from this capsule collection and I think, it’s a great result from a promising success story :)
